I. Introductory note
Personal data controller Translise s r. o., with registered office at Hutianska 1639, 962 05 Hriňová, ID No.: 55276148, VAT No.: 2121938522, which is registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Banská Bystrica, Section Sro, Insert No. 45870/S (hereinafter referred to as “Translise” or “we”) undertakes to protect the personal data of its customers and suppliers in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data). April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data). This privacy policy describes how Translise collects, processes and protects the personal data of its customers when they visit our website on the domain https://translise.com (“our website”) and/or use our services.
II. What data we collect at Translise
When you complete and submit a “Quote” on our translise.com website, we require you to provide the following information: first name, last name, company or organization website, email address, and phone number. When you choose to order our services, we require your billing information in order to issue an invoice. When you visit our website, we collect data about your activity on our website through cookies and analytics tools that record your activity on our website. The information we collect may include your IP address, device type and browser settings.
If you are contacting us as a new supplier, we require you to provide the following information: first name, last name, company name, contact details, billing details, email, phone number. In addition, we require you to submit a professional resume with information about your education, previous experience, or information that may be necessary to evaluate your abilities for the desired position.
III. Why Translise collects personal data
We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:
• provision of services,
• optimising and expanding our services,
• payment for our services,
• protecting the legitimate interests of our assets or the interests and activities of our customers,
• evaluating applications for employment,
• analysing visits to our website, for direct marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing the personal data of the persons concerned:
Translise proceeds with the collection of personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amending and supplementing certain regulations (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Data Protection Act”) and REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR).
The legal basis for the processing of personal data by our company is:
• the data subject’s consent to the processing of personal data
• the execution of a contract to which the person concerned is a party
• the legitimate interest of the controller
• to comply with legal obligations – when storing data about you and your order in our accounting records or when disclosing data to state and other authorities that supervise our activities or that resolve disputes or enforce decisions.
Consent of the data subject
• The data subject gives consent to the processing of personal data freely, without coercion or compulsion, as well as without being subject to the threat of rejection of the contractual relationship, the services provided or the obligations arising for the controller.
• The data subject gives consent separately for each purpose of processing personal data.

V. Direct marketing
Our company may send you relevant offers and news about our products and services and proposals for cooperation via email, but only if you have previously agreed to receive marketing communications or have used our services in the past and have become our customer. In each email we will provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of further marketing communications. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of our marketing emails. We use the emailing tool Mailchimp to send email campaigns.
Terms of consent to receive personalised messages:
• you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time,
• you will receive an email from us no more than twice a month,
• we will store your e-mail in our database for a maximum of 2 years,
• we will not use your email for any other purpose and we will not disclose it to third parties.

• request rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data,
• object to the processing of personal data,
• request the portability of personal data,
• lodge a complaint or bring an action before a supervisory authority,
• withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time,
• have access to his/her own personal data,
• request a list of their own personal data subject to processing,
• request the destruction of their personal data,
which are the subject of the processing, if there has been a breach of the law,
• request the restriction of the processing of personal data,
• prevent the processing of your own personal data that you believe is or will be processed for marketing purposes without your consent,
• have the right to bring an action under section 100 if the data subject suspects that his or her personal data is being unlawfully processed.

Retention period of personal data
The retention period of personal data is determined according to the specific purpose of the processing of personal data and according to the requirements of specific regulations. The individual retention periods are prescribed by the company’s internal regulation, the Records Management Plan, drawn up in accordance with the Law on Archives and Registers. The Company shall securely dispose of all personal data whose processing purpose and retention period have expired.
VII. Sharing of personal data
We may share your personal information with third parties, such as:
• with advertising service providers,
• with web services providers.
With the exception of the preceding sentence, your personal data will not be shared with any third party without your consent, except in the following cases:
• when Translise is required to disclose personal data by law or public authority order, or where the sharing of personal data is expressly permitted by applicable law.
We are committed to keeping your personal data secure. For this reason, we have put in place physical, technical and organisational measures and plans to protect and secure your data. The aim is to eliminate unauthorised or unlawful processing of your personal data or accidental, unauthorised or unlawful access, use, transfer, processing, copying, alteration, loss or corruption of your personal data.
Despite all efforts to comply with the rules set out in the relevant legislation, it is not possible to ensure the security of your personal data if it is transferred or shared in an insecure manner. We will protect your data in the following ways:

• restricting access to your data (i.e. access to your personal data is only allowed to those who are employees or contractors for whom access is necessary).
Translise only discloses any potentially personally-identifying or other sensitive information to those employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to process it on Translise’s behalf, to transact business with a client, or to provide services to Translise. Translise discloses all potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those employees and contractors who have agreed to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
VIII. Right of access to your data and right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to receive detailed information about your personal data that we have processed. You also have the right to request the rectification or erasure of inaccurate personal data or the restriction of the processing of data relating to you. You can request an update or erasure of your personal data by emailing us at office@translise.eu. However, if your request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, we may:
• charge a reasonable fee, taking into account the administrative costs of carrying out the required actions; or
• refuse to carry out your request.
